Social Media Policy
Purpose / Intent:
The Greater Cincinnati Dietetic Association recognizes that web sites such as Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, blogs, online publishing and other user-generated media (known collectively as “social media”) can be highly effective tools for sharing ideas and exchanging information of all kinds.
GCDA is committed to using some of these electronic communications to promote the organization’s visibility and maintain communications with current and prospective members, business partners, vendors and suppliers, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the general public.
GCDA seeks to ensure that use of such communications serves the organization’s need to maintain brand identity, integrity, and reputation while minimizing actual or potential legal risks.
Therefore, GCDA follows the Social Media Policy of our parent association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Click here: https://www.eatrightpro.org/about-us/our-policies/social-media-policy
